ARBIT Training Activity Meeting in Valencia


On the 18th to 20th of may 2022, the partners of the ARBIT project – Augmented reality for body schema, pointing and imitation training in autism- met in Valencia for a Three-day meeting.

The meeting hosted by the University of Valencia and Adapta Foundation, was celebrated with the aim of training participants in the use of the scales that will be applied in ARBIT research study.

The first day of the transnational meeting was dedicated progress of the project, specifically the advances related to the research study about the efficacy of the augmented reality tool: Pictogram Room.

The second part of the morning, Adapta Foundation explained to the attendees the concept of joint attention and prepared a Workshop on the Joint Attention Protocol assessment.

To end the first day, the University of Valencia showed the rest of the partners, the improvements in the development of the Pictogram room program, an augmented reality software designed to respond to a series of needs of people with Autism through a set of free downloadable leisure-educational activities.

The second day of the meeting, the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes / CHArt-LUTIN, covered three relevant issues related with ARBIT´s project, imitation, body knowledge, and cognitive complexity, each subject was accompanied by its corresponding workshop.


And the last day, was dedicated to a workshop on the study documents and procedures and to present the follow-up of action plan for the rest of the project.
