Autismo Avila is a non-profit association founded in 2000, as a part of the Castilla-LeOn Autism Federation and the Autism Confederation of Spain; which has the main objective of providing support to people with autism and their families, trying to improve their quality of life and to promote their inclusion in those environments where more obstacles could be found.

It offers different kinds of services: evaluation and diagnosis, intervention based in the needs of each individual, early attention, sensory integration, social abilities workshop, personal assistance and intervention with families. All of this developed as a part of an individualized intervention plan and supervised by a multidisciplinary team. It has a specific school for children with ASD (Trebol School) and a support center for adults and households as well.

Furthermore, the organization establishes some social services like awareness campaigns about autism and urban signposting.

It collaborates with different kinds of organizations, universities and institutions too, developing and participating in many projects, all of them within the national and European territory.

Besides, it has an editorial, through which different manuals are published, not only for professionals but also for families. This includes early intervention models, an assessment tool, school intervention manuals and several books about autism and intellectual disability.
